Greenhouse Gases
When it comes to health and ethics, I have this idea in my head that I’d like to try to be a vegetarian. Recent studies have shown that vegetarians can live very long lives (such as the Seventh Day Adventists of Loma Linda, California) and I’ve seen mentioned several times that livestock actually contribute more to greenhouse gasses than operation of motor vehicles. I think that’s a pretty frightening prospect, but I find it very difficult to let go of the delights that meat can bring to the palate. Although I’m by no means a carnivore and don’t eat meat everyday, I think I’m going to ease off of it a little bit and see how it goes. I’ll keep you posted.

Haha, I was a vegetarian for about 8 years as a teenager. However, i love a good piece of fish & I love a good burger. So that + college eventually ruined me. However you’re right, cutting down on the meat can be quite good, specially in these times when there really is alot of crap going on in the meat industry. (also - ive heard that cutting down on dairy is really good for you. i agree, but cutting it out might as well be cutting out happiness from your life. lol)
