I would like to see your thoughts on how coffee was discovered.
I have always imagined that someone thought the coffee bean might make for a tasty soup. But upon sampling, discovered a bitter, nasty taste… with a great caffeine buzz! Or, maybe they just skipped the whole soup routine and just bit into the bean and got a mouthful of nasty with a great buzz. Either way, it makes me wonder…
And then there’s tobacco.
Who decided that was fun to smoke? Or that anything was fun to inhale? I have visions of a forest caught on fire and a bunch of natives sitting nearby inhaling the fumes and enjoying the feeling.
