There have been many occasions in which people have questioned me on my spectacles. Apparently, the new thing is to have surgery for every ailment one has. I’m quite partial to my glasses. I like them. Although I would like to have the freedom to be without them on occasion, I’d still like to retain them as my own version of a fashion accessory. I’ve gotten accustomed to putting them on everyday, and they are all but fused to my face. Perhaps I’ll consider contacts as an occasional option, but I don’t think I can ever bring myself to slice open my eye and and shoot in some lasers. That’s just insane.
